MAOR FORUM E-MAIL
PURPOSE and USE GUIDELINES
The Maor Forum is a moderated email list for the Kehillat Menorat Hamaor membership to communicate matters pertaining directly to our Beit Knesset and matters of specific and direct interest to our Kehilla. All those who post e-mails for distribution on the Maor Forum are kindly requested to comply with the guidelines below. Posts should be:
- Kehillat Menorat Hamaor related
- Non-political in nature. No promotion of political parties, agendas, events that have political agendas.
- Consistent with the Torani-Leumi hashkafa of our Kehilla
- Directly and specifically relevant to our membership and not of a general nature which is better served on some other RBS or BS forum such as the BS/RBS list, or certain Facebook groups.
- Non-commercial in nature and must not promote a business. Certain exceptions may be made for members of Kehillat Menorat Hamaor in special financial circumstances who may post no more than once per month for this purpose.
- If the post is for an event not specifically organized and run by Menorat Hamaor, the post must be specifically of value to the majority of Kehillat Menorat Hamaor members such as a local blood drive, or a civic related matter. Generally, events of other institutions or entities will not be approved for posting unless they are directly relevant to our membership. There are other posting venues available in the RBS area for such postings.
